Dylan is a freelance software engineer, and world traveler. He started his professional career with a degree in Wildlife Management, which let him to the mountains of Oregon, where he worked as a wilderness trail crew leader for the US Forest Service, a professional snowboard instructor, and occasional pizza delivery guy. In 2000 the hopes of "dot-com riches" lured him to California, where he obtained a degree in Multimedia and Web Design from the Art Institute of California—San Francisco, but the bubble burst and he ended up working in the software industry. In 2009, he decided it was time expand his horizons and discover what else the world has to offer, so he packed his backpack, and bought a one way ticket to Shanghai. He now hopes to add travel writer, photographer, and "professional vagabond" to his list of accomplishments.
